April is stress awareness month

April is stress awareness month and we at Martial Art World want to offer support to anyone who needs that little bit of extra help.

According to the Mental health Foundation, 74% of UK adults have felt so stressed at some point over the last year they felt overwhelmed or unable to cope.

The most crucial thing you can do when you are stressed is to look after yourself. Take time out of your day to relax or do something that you enjoy. Try to exercise and eat well, even when you feel stressed.

Martial arts and physical exercise can play such a strong role in your mental health. Whether it be to deal with anger management, self esteem issues, to give you that feel good factor through the release of endorphins or simply to improve focus, martial arts really can do help so much to reduce your stress levels.

The person you’ll be with the most in your life is you! Learn to love yourself, respect yourself and be yourself. Martial arts can be just one mechanism of many to help you through this process and ultimately control your stress levels to a point that is more manageable.

If you’re currently feeling stressed, or you feel like you’re in a bit of a rut and want to feel good again, why not try some martial art classes? They’re safe, fun and can really help you become the best version of yourself. We currently have a special de-stress martial arts package which includes a 4 week membership for just £4.

Start feeling good again with Martial Art World!
